Love Poem - HOPING

They say don’t take things for granted, but I ignore the facts.
They say take one day at a time, but I can’t help wanting everything now.
Why are you constantly in my mind, why can’t I be constantly in yours?
I fell so abandoned and humiliated, because all I wanted was your attention.
You don’t want to be bothered with me, but you rather are bothered with someone else.
While you have others surrounding you with love, why should you care to give me some?
I feel so naïve to believe that, you and I would end up being together.
All I need is your acknowledgment, so I can feel relaxed.
