A Fair Warning

Submitted on : Feb 11, 2015
Child, don't follow me home
Your just too perfect for my hands to hold
If you choose to stay
You'll throw it all away

There is no such thing as fate
You can only blame yourself if you don't walk away
Because behind these walls, that were built way too strong
There are secrets I've been holding for just too long

I can't make your dreams come true
You'll only start to wonder what you got yourself into
And all I will say is " I told you that it was true"

What were you expecting?
Another lullaby?
Are you fucking kidding?

There was never a possibility for me to stick around
But it never ways intention to let you down
All you have to do is leave me alone, forget my face
And then you'll be able to find yourself a happy
place

It's all you can do
After all we HAVEN'T been through
One last thing from me
Is just don't pity me or feel sorry
I'm not going to for you, no sympathy, please!
