Bridge

Submitted on : May 12, 2013
Walking on the streets heading to the south

meeting someone but why is there chills in my mouth,

butterflies on my stomach, and cold sweat

is it the weather or the person I will meet?

it's 3pm in the afternoon and the 4th of July

trying to solve some problems and some of my lies

suddenly I got an expected call

she was mad at me and i was like talking to brick wall

seeing her from a far when i arrived at the bridge

I was nervous and she looked at me on a straight face

expectations: we could talk it out and maybe we could enjoy together

but in reality I was shivered by her looks and was burning my own fingers

I did everything even tried doing a hat trick

but in this situation the only option is for a heart break

she was heading south and i was going to north

the bridge was a place where I was proved to be stupid and an idiot.
