Hi, my name is Mae and I'm 13. I have been going out with my boyfriend since March but we still haven't kissed. We have discussed it and both agreed that we should- and soon, but still nothing happens. I would make the first move except for the fact that I'm really shy about anything physical. It doesn't help that I've never kissed anyone before (apart from family). I am wondering where a good place for our first kiss should be as well, should it be somewhere private or would that give the wrong idea?? Can anyone offer me any advice or even a way to help stop me being shy? Please help!! (I am a big worrygutsand REALLY impatient which doesn't help)

Yeah, but I asked him out and I believe that we are all equal and therefore it should not be up to the boy to do everything.

Mae, don't stress. Whenever the time is right, you'll know and you should just go with it. I honestly know how you feel. I've never had my first kiss but I don't think about it. Because I know that one day or other, it will happen.
