Should I give him up, or is there flames?

There is this guy I like ever since the third grade. Hey was a grade ahead of me, so yeah I don't get to see him much in the mornings since I'm in 8th grade and he is in 9th grade. I like him so much, I have this sudden urge to avoide him whenever i see him.A year ago, I had moved school's for a year and now I'm back, and yeah, I STILL have a crush on him. So I avoide him, and I dunno why, it's just complex. I haven't seen him for long periods of time (by long periods I mean weeks!) so yeah. I always think that he's busy with stuff at school and he sometimes can't come to see me, but now, I'm starting to think he's not coming because of me. So, SHOULD I give him up? Sorry for long story. (btw I'm still not finished :P)
