I want to date this guy, but I'm afraid my friends will make fun of me. I have never dated and I'm afraid that my friends will say hurtful comments about me or gossip to other people. I am really close to his guy friends and I know that they are going to tease me and tell everyone. I want it to be a normal relationship with no "friend drama" and without the whole entire school knowing.

I know exactly how you feel. My boyfriend is also my friend and everyone was teasing us about how we should go out before we started to go out so when he asked me out we decided to only tell a few people and tell them not to tell anyone. A bit drastic maybe but so far its working, we've been going out for two months now and the teasing hasn't gotten worse. I hope this helps-Mae

Who cares about drama? ignore the teasing. if he makes u happy you shouldnt not date him because your scared of what other people will say. Just do what makes u happy gurl. go with the flow
