I wake to taste the love you've left me.
The tangy taste of perfume and sweat.
I brush your hair from your eyes as you look at me.
You whisper my name, I place my finger to your lips.
Words, I thought, were not welcome. They didn't fit.
You looked up at me with angelic eyes as you placed my hands upon you thighs.
With every touch and every trust, you wait for one word. Just one name...Mary
