Dead Love

Falling tears
Cold raindrops
Drip sullenly
Through the maze
Of decaying petals
Illusions shatter
In shards
Of lethal glass
Souls smash
Ripped apart by
The knives you cant see

Blades slash
Blood drips
Crimson streams
Like red ribbons
Wind their worthless way
Aching wrists
Red blood
Hearts break
In a million splinters
Like a fragile glass cage

Poison filters
Through my skin
Lethal edge
Jagged blades
Rip into my neck
Last thoughts
Broken dreams
One last word
Good Riddance
I guess I’m too far gone for you
