Euphoria

Euphoria

By mere scent of your skin
That slithers into the air
Stillness always conquers me
Even in a Kafkaesque city.
After fighting chaos all day
My incense soul
Finds its asylum
Every time you draw closer to me
As if your aromatic presence
Can fly me to the moon
And snatch me away from reality.
The saccharine encounter of our lips
To the communion of our existential body
Always makes me feel rested for century
And the ripples it created
Reverberates constantly
Down to the inner core of my existence
That even in the portico of death
I’ll continue singing lullabies
Of our unfathomable fate.
