Can one sided love be succesful

I really love a guy. We are friends . I am not sure he loves me but so far i know aboutmyself i feel like i can be the girl who can adjust with him easily as i understands his all thick and thins, Now i m confused how to let him know. I do not want to speak with him directly but want to realize him about my love from the way of soul!
